I can't really remember cuz I'm really really past that but the pillars that rise straight to heaven should be in Undernet 4. Past beastman's security cube. But that's during the mission with the will. If you're doing the mission with the will then that's the right place.

go to undernet4 and get to the top pillar but you have to have flashman's code
