In the tower of tel branora there is a person who sells spells. go to the tower and enter "Therana's chamber" once you pass through the door, look up. you need a levitation potion, or a spell. once you get up to the very top ledge you will see a hall. in the middle of the hall, off to one side is therana, and at one end of the hall is the spellmaker.

To summon a daedra, you must know the spell for it. The Pilgrim's Path is a book in the story that tells you which shrines to go to in order to join the temple. Otherwise, it's a useless book. I have read parts of the book and it has no secret meaning. Personally, I think it's useless.
To find if a book has secret meaning, all you have to do is open it up.
