My toddler did something to the disc and I no longer can get into the game. I know that the game is saved entirely on the memory card, but since I can't get far enough into the intro to hit the start button, I'm stuck!
Is there a way to get around the intro and right into the game other than buying a whole new copy?

Unfortuantely, you will need to buy a new copy of the game, however, as long as you have the memory card that your game is saved on, you can play the same town, from the exact place that you left it, regardless of what happened to the game disc. The game is on the disc, but your town and all of your saved data is on the memory card.
