Can anyone give me tips on how I can become a very good thief? Like what recommendations with race, sign, etc...

Well I'd say some of the best things you can do are:
If you want to steal a shop Item, try to keep a wall between the shop owner and you. If you get caught by the owner, Kill them before they raise the alarm. As the previous answer said, try and get your Intelligence skill high.

be a wood elf born under the sign of the thief, that is my reccomendation. Get Intellegence and Marksman as your major skills and some more skills useful for thiefs.
