Ok you are probaly going to have to restart your game. Unless u havnt battled the youngster on route 25 that is facing the towards the wall (NOT THE ONE LOOKING AT THE BUSH!) And you couldnt of battled the gambleer on route 8 ok if u have battled those 2 guys then u got to restart ur game ok now dont battle those guys. ok play the game until u get fly then go to u no that tunnel that is on route 8 but dont go in that way go in the other entrance way. before u exit the other side of the tunnel to route 8 SAVE I REPEAT SAVE! because it is a lil hard what u have to do ok leave the tunnel the first step u take wont battle anyone another step forward and the gambler will have tha weird lil exclamation point over his head but before he gets to u and battles u got to press start and u have to press it the first second he sees u. now use fly to cerulean city and go to where the youngester u didnt battle was battle him beat him. then fly to lavender town and walk to route 8 ur start menu should pop up click exit u should battle a lvl 5 MEW! THIS IS HOW I GOT MINE I SWEAR IT WORKS IF U DO WHAT I SAID RIGHT!!!!!! I have a mew now he is lvl 88.

To get it, don't defeat Misty! ( Make sure you have an Abra as you will need to teleport back to Cerulean Poke Center ) At Cerulean City, defeat all trainers on the Nugget Bridge and then go off to the left. DON'T GO ALL THE WAY DOWN TOO FAST; there is a bug trainer there and you don't want him to see you.
This bit is tricky; it helps to save before you try this.
Move so when you take one more step down, the bug trainer will see you. Then, move one step ( Into his line of vision ) and quickly press start. Then, go to Abra and use teleport. If that worked for you, you should go back to the Poke Center as the guy goes: "!" and starts to walk over to you.
Okay, don't try to talk to anybody while at Cerulean; just head for the gym. Battle a trainer ( NOT MISTY ) and use growl or leer or some kind of attack that lowers stats SIX times on each Pokemon.
After you defeat him, go out and start walking up the Nugget Bridge again. You should encounter a lv0 / lv1 Mew. Catch it! <3
If you go to its stats, you'll see it has like 5906726 experience points ( Or something like that. x3' ). Take it into the grass and fight something that it could win against ( You might have to call it back so it doesn't die though. :3 ). Once you win, it will say: "Mew gained ... experience points... Mew grew to lv100!"
The only bas thing about this is that it only knows pound. :0
But you can teach it any TM, right?
It really works; I got it. It made the game SOOO much easier. <3
