Can I have a different name on the same game when I turn it on?

Well I got the game and the ds and I made a dog and a user titld Laura which is my name. But my friend doesnt have a ds or nintendogs and wants to make her own pet and user on my ds and I said ok. Well the problem with that is whenever I turn the game on it goes to my user( Laura) and my dog and I want her to make her own. Can you help?

You can only have one user on your nintendo ds. Sorry! But, you can get more than one dog.

you can only have one username on each nintendo ds but she could make a dog for herself on your name
