My cousin told me that you can date other animals and that he has a girlfriend. Can you really date? Other people also seem to think that people and animals can get married! Can you? One last thing, what the crap do golden things do?! Are they just there to look pretty?

you can't date or get married. but you can get fourtunes from the mayor that say you will have good luck in your love life. then some animals might just say something about liking you, but you won't date or get married. if your cousin is the lying type then maybe he was lying. show him this post so he knows that you can't date, marry, or have a girlfriend/boyfriend, but you can be really great friends with the other animals and residents. i'm not sure what the golden things do. cause i tried selling my golden shovel to tom nook, but he said it would only sell of 147 or 187 bells. i was wondering why it was going for so cheap. but there's a cheat that you need all the golden items to do it. thats about it... BYE!!!
