The first cheat is in Donut Plains 1. To be able to get this cheat you have to get the green switch in Donut Plains 2. All you have to do is go to the end of the level where a wall of green blocks will have apeared. You just run up the blocks and get the key at the top and put it in the lock at the the top. To get the green switch all you have to do is go through the world until you get to the green tunnel. Go up it, get the key and put it in the lock. When you get to Donut Ghost House all you have to do is get a cape and go backwards and fly up at the beginning of the level. Then you just have to run along and it will finish the level for you and also open a secret level that gives you yoshi and items.

I recently submitted a list of all the cheats, the list does not however contain information about secret goals though... Still, you may want to have a look at it, because in one section it tells you how to get 999 extra lives about as fast as you can, which will therefore, help you beat the game.

The URL may not appear yet, if ever! So here is the one that tells you how to get your maximum of 999 lives:
VANNILA SECRET 2, ENDLESS 1-UPS: STEP 1:In “Vanilla Secret 2”, go to the area with the mid-point tape, break the tape, and then choose back, STEP 2:Enter the level again and go to the gray P-switch, take it to the area with all the jumping Koopas, STEP 3: and hit it. Run through the area collecting coins until the time runs out on the P-switch or you get all the 1-ups. STEP 4: Push START, go back and repeat steps 2-3 as many times as you want, the maximum lives possible are 999. For a tougher challenge, jump on the Koopas instead of doing this thing.

Ok, now I'll tell you how to get to Vannilla Secret 1, which will lead you to Vannila Secret 2...
SECRET EXIT: If you’ve gotten the Red Switch Palace, then good, but if you haven’t then get Yoshi, then go to the area with red dotted line blocks. Jump off Yoshi's back to get up there by jumping, then pressing R. If you found the Red Switch Palace, than you only need to climb the steps that are made out of red [!] blocks. This leads to Vanilla Secret 1.
