I'm not a member but i do go on the forums and see what there is but runescape has a chat filter and I think that he should be supervised on the forums though. But the in-game has a chat filter for if you say a rude word it will come out in asterisks (*). I think it would be good for him but then he will have to have quite a good account (otherwise it will be a waste of money cause you need to have a good acount to do the fun stuff)and recovery questions.
