When you go over the boxes with the question marks on them on your walk then sometimes they will have a firehat in them.

Well, there really is no certain way to get the firemen's hat. You just have to keep trying to find it by going over as many boxes with a ? on them as you can. You'll probably get one when you least expect it. If you want a dalmation nintendog so badly then why don't you just buy Nintendogs Dalmation & Friends?
