i save a game which i have a good level pokemon i turn off the power and when i turn it on the menu screen only has NEW GAME AND OPTIONS. what can i do

LOOK HER GO IN TO THE MENY WERE THERE IS POKEDEX POKEMON ITEMS WHERE YOUR NAME IS UNDER YOUR NAME IS IT SAVE!! PRESS SAVE, after a wile it will say (DONT TURN OFF THE POWER)and after that YOUR FUCKING GAME HAS BEEN SAVED!!!
