I have gotten past the chest with the number code, I am not at the statue that needs to be turned to get up the steps. I have tried so many combinations, and followed the signs and tried those in ever which order as to which way to turn the statue. Can someone help please? Thank you!

The gold statue faces forward, the white one faces left (I think). If that doesn't work try doing the gold statue left and the white statue forward.
