You first have to defeat Cyclos (The guy who goes around in that tornado-like-thing. You need the bow and then you shoot him until he teaches you the ballid of gales.)and then warp to Mother and Child Isles (B2) and you end up inside of one of the islands. Then the great fairy gives you the ice and fire arrows. Then go to Ice Ring Isle(E6)and shoot a fire arrow at the source where that gust of really cold wind comes out. (Which by the way freezes you.) It will give you some time to get in where the wind came out. Get in and work your way through this mini dungeon. You will eventually get the iron boots from Ice Ring Isle. Then you can put on the iron boots which will allow you to get out and walk through the gust of wind at Gale Isle(D1). Then you will meet the old sage after you play the song that is on the stone tablet/door. He tells you that you need to find a new sage that holds the same instrument that he has. Go to the Forest Haven and do the same thing that you did the first time you came here, but stop when you get to the first grappling spot. Grapple onto the grapple spot and slid down and face towards the waterfall. Then pick up speed and then jump into the waterfall. You find yourself in a strange but cozy room. You find Makar in that same room too, practicing for next years ceremony. Go in front of him and play the song you just learned a couple of minutes ago. He will then have a a vision and realize that he is the next sage. Go back to Gale Isle (With Makar) and play the same song, only in front of the door (Again, it has the newly learned song on it.)and then it will crack. You now have access to the wind temple! For the earth temple, you need to go to Fire Mountain(F3) and shoot an ice arrow at the top of that mini dungeon and then drop through the hole that the lava came out of. You have another time limit to get in and get out. get in and work your way through the dungeon and eventually you will see a treasure chest.(There is a huge rock by it.) Open the treasure chest to get the power bracelets! Then go to the huge rock and pick it up and throw it out of your way. go throgh the door and get out of that hot place. Then go to Headstone Island(C7). Again, go in and you see another stone tablet door that is blocking the entrance to the temple. Then you need to learn the new song yet again on the doorway. The sage then comes out and tells you to find someone with the same instrumet-like you did with Makar. Go to Dragon Roost Island(F2) and go inside and then go outside.(Upstairs and past Medli's room.) Take out your deku leaf and run towards your left and then jump off and then use your deku leaf to get across and then you see Medli. Go in front of her and play the newly learnd song on the wind waker. Again, she will have a vision and you needto take her to the temple. Take her there and then play the song in front of the door and the stone tablet will crack. Then you have access to both temples! I hope this helped you!

P.S The thing that is wrong with the sword is that Ganon KILLED the sages and then attacked the temples. That caused the Master Sword to lose it's power and so if the monsters weren't in the temple, and the sages weren't killed, the Master Sword wouldn't of lost its power. And because you found new sages and defeated the monsters in the temple, it's like it never happened and then the sages got enough power again to give power to the Master Sword.
