yes you can trade of emrild it tells you on the back of the box

you can only trade pokemon from emerald to diamond not diamond to emerald

you can AFTER you beat diamond but its one way, you HAVE to trade 6 pokemon and you HAVE to catch all of the first batch before you can trade any more. put emerald in the GBA slot and go to pal park on route 121, happy hunting!

you cant trade but you can migrate but you have to complete the pokedex and beat the elite four aqnd u have to migrate 6 not higher or lower than that and you cant migrate pokemon from diamond or pearl into GBA (game boy advance)games only GBA games can migrate pokemon into diamond and pearl
