about 1 out of every 20 times, I might be able to see the top ledge... but most of the times, Sonic does NOT follow the rings. This has been extremely frustrating. Is there a secret to getting out of the sewer? I hold down the action button until Sonic is ready. I walk over the button to show the lit rings. I let go of the action button... and 19 out of 20 times, sonic does not follow the trail of rings. and the 1 time that he does make it to the top, he falls right back down. I can see the ledge at the top, but fall right back down into the sewer. HELP!Is there a code that I can use to skip this section while retaining the light speed shoes? This sewer scene has in not wanting to play the game anymore.

Well you need to hold the button until your EXACTLY lined up with the rings and in front of the first ring. then as you go up you need to hold the control stick foward so he goes past the ledge, I know it's hard but keep trying, you will get it! Hope this helped!
