I beat Maxie in the Seafloor Cavern then the blue orb made groudon go away and I never got him.

Can someone please help me? I beat Maxie then all of a suden the blue orb made groudon wake up and then it is all to hot all over Hoenn. I never caught groudon. Also the sotopolis gym doors won't open! HHHHHHHEEEEELLLLLPPPPP!!!!!
