Yes!!! Resident Evil 0 came out in 2002 and follows the story of Rebecca Chambers (Bravo team) and Billy Coen. It deals with the virus before the T-virus. I don't want to say anymore for fear of giving something away about the storyline. In my opinion, if you are a true resident evil fan you must buy and play this game.

Yes Resident evil does exist and its only for Gamecube.
