How do you reload a saved game on House of the Dead 2 for Sega Dreamcast?

I bought a used version without a booklet. I'm getting VERY tired of the first level. :-)

You can't make a Level Selection on the House of The Dead 2 (DC). If you have a memory card, you can save (AutoSave) the training mode and/or Boss Mode that you have already defeated (also the Items you got in the Original Mode) ,... but you can't save a game. So you will need to play every time from the beggining.
