This isnt a solution to the problem but what you can try to do is not hold down the acceleration button but rather keep tapping it this way the ATV and snowmobile doesnt have time to get up to full speed then once you become more comfortable with the controls then you can start to peg the throttle.

Right side at throtle there is a little underneath tighten to reduce and back out to go faster.
