I played the ps2 version so i dont know if it's any different, but from what i know is that i beat the game on single player and i didn't even have 007 in multiplayer so from what i know i dont think there is any way to get 007 in multiplayer.

it should say right when you start your game single or multiplare on my ps2 thats wat happened

when you are playing multiplayer on gamecube before select a mission just highlight it and press either y or x i cant remember which one but it will have unlockables written next to it on the bottom of the screen press it and you will see your locked and unlocked players by scrolling left or right .Each player that is still locked will show you the number of points you need to get that person.
