How do you get past the first platform in level 3 gorilla's? I get past the penguin and then onto ..

How do you get past the first platform in level 3 gorilla's? I get past the penguin and then onto the top of the rock , but I can't jump high enough to the platform to get the bolt and then jump into the cave on the side.
