Well what I always do is train until I am on a high level like 50. The training will help with the Basalisk too (trust me I beat the game in 4 days!).

If you have vermillious tria or incendio duo you'll have a better chance. Have Ron use fumos on himself and Harry. Use incendio duo or Tria and Vermillious Tria with Harry and Incendio anything with Ron. Hope to be a help!
